Esco Thailand successfully conducts 2nd run of Pharmacy Compounding Workshop

TaPestle Rx, a division of Esco Healthcare together with Esco Lifesciences (Thailand) Co., Ltd. conducted its second run for the seminar on Innovative Technology and Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs last March 21, 2017 at the S31 Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Topics discussed by TaPestle Rx Product Specialists were Introduction, International Standards, Engineering Controls, including Isolation Technology relating to Pharmacy Compounding and Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs. The event was attended by pharmacists from different hospitals, private companies and universities in Bangkok.

On display and demo was the Streamline® Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolator (Total Exhaust) which drew much attention and interest from the participants. The equipment is designed to provide user, product, environment, and cross-contamination protection from exposure to hazards. It is configured to operate at negative pressure and single pass airflow.
